SUMMER PROGRAM AT COLUMBUS BALLET

The Columbus Ballet Conservatory (TCBC) at CSU's Rankin Arts Center is also the home of the Columbus Ballet company. The summer instructors include the Columbus Ballet's Artistic and Executive Director, David Herriott, former principal soloist with Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet and the North Carolina Dance Theatre, and instructors Bridget Adams, Joanna Ahlman, Alison Cox, Jessica Durham, Maria Hirsch, Pam Walden, Melissa Williams.

All levels will be taught and it is highly reccomended that all dancers continue their dance training during the summer. Summer study allows the dancers to concentrate on dance without academic concerns. Vast improvements can be seen in dancers who study during the summer. Early registration is advised. Registration is now available and should be completed at least 5 days before classes begin. Late registrations will be accepted if classes are not full.

All new students, except for 3,4 & 5 year olds, will be evaluated and placed in their appropriate levels. Three, four and five year olds should register for Mommy and Me or Creative Movement. Continuing Conservatory students will not need to pay another registration fee. New summer students will be required to pay a $10 summer registration fee per family.

Watch for more information about Columbus Ballet's "The Nutcracker". Auditions are scheduled for Saturday, August 22nd. Company auditions are scheduled for Saturday, August 15th.

The Columbus Ballet Conservatory offers summer classes in 2 separate sessions.
